Okidoki. Our moduleleader told is that this module would get pretty intensive. And I´m getting it. It is intensive. Kind of idea versus time versus everything we don´t know yet. I suppose this goes for all groups. Today we were supposed to make a projectplan and deliver it for everyone to check out. Thats a good idea, to share all ideas and plans early. I think we´ve made a pretty good estimate of time as well.
Our project is a mixingdevice that controls some tracks of a recorded songs. With distance detection you will move imaginary faders lit up by ledlights. Pretty cool! If we get the basics work I´m sure we can pimp it with extra features to really make it c****** e***.
For me this tech is deep waters, though not too deep to have fun meanwhile. We will use an arduinocard and flash to get it work. Thank god we are nikolaj w the flash skills, anders with cool ideas and some tech-now-how, curious positive markus ready to get to down to tech-business, jade with designfingertips and so on. I´m trying to get the whole picture as a projectleader, and will help from the others I´m sure to make it. We could probably switch these roles easily with exception of the flashskills…
So. The time is about 19.00 and my heartbeat are starting to slow down a bit. You know, you don´t know that you´re excited until you starting to calm down. Looking forward to get “handy” (probably swenglish) tomorrow with leds, sensors and arduino.

Idag startade vi verkligen på riktigt!
Vi utforskade vad vi ville göra med den teknik vi fått, vilket är Arduino. Först tänkte vi “Va fan kan man göra med den här apparaten”, men efter ett tag så kom Nicolai på en idé om att vi tar fram gruppens intressen och ser vad vi kan göra utav de.
Så vi har “brainstormat” hela dagen och kommit fram med några intressanta tankar och hur vi ska göra och vad vi ska göra med Arduinon. Vi sökte och fick inspiration från bland annat Youtube där de fanns lite exempel på vad man kan göra, men också från Arduinos hemsida som har lite tutorials.
Vi testade att koppla in Arduinon och såg hur de fungerade, men vi saknade material för att göra basic övningarna. Men vi fick Arduinon att starta som den skulle med hjälp av en tutorial som vi hittade.
